To think this could be drugs?

So I was just getting things out for the kids to play with in the water tray and came across a tin and thought they could use it. Just opened it and found a brown substance wrapped in cling film and rolling paper.

What does it look like to you?

I never need to go into the storage outside but today I did and happened to come across it.

I want to confront my DP who I know will probably gaslight me and say he has no idea. But it was a tin together with the rolling paper.

The problem is he's off next week and we've planned days out with the kids and I don't want to ruin it for them if things go sour.

I don't like the stuff and don't agree with it so it's a possible deal breaker for me tbh.

I'm not sure whether I should just leave it where I found it and check on it week after next and see if it's been used or hide it somewhere else and see if he reacts to it. He obviously won't tell me he can't find it as he's clearly hidden it from me. But then he'll know I've found it.

I don't know what to do atm until next week is over with.

What would you do?

That's definitely hash/solid/resin.

How long have you lived in your house? Could it be from someone else? Could it be the neighbours?

Do you know what hash smells like?

I don't like smoking either I hate the stuff but this for me is worse.

Yep that's draw (resin) which is the solid form of cannabis. You use a lighter to melt it down/soften it then crumble it in the rizla with your tobacco

That’s hash (hashish), we smoke it a lot in Spain because it usually comes from Morocco which is very close by.

I was going to say it looks like solid too. Give it a smell, it will stink if it does. The unmistakable smell!

It's hashish. It doesn't stink like the filthy skunk leaves everyone uses these days, it's more fragrant, a bit like incense. Don't bin it, it's possibly belongs to someone else. Ask him OP. It's probably not a LTB but that's up to you.

Hash is a brown tablet (looks a bit like chocolate) that is literally compressed marihuana, it’s made in a press. It’s not a dangerous drug by any means, it’s just organic weed but compressed and the effect is a tad stronger than smoked weed. It’s illegal in this country.

Small amount, no more than 50 quid. I wouldn’t be very worried about it OP.

If you aren’t sure if it’s his or he’s actually smoking it you could weigh it, leave it a month or so and weigh it again.

@Sandra1984 for us £50 is a lot of money.

We go weeks sometimes not being able to afford food. Clothes for the kids etc. we've not taken the kids anywhere this summer because we can't afford it.

Right now I have no food to give my kids for snack and dinner portions are small to spread it out.

So spending money on this is not on

I think I will put it back and check on it in a couple of weeks and see what's what.

I wouldn't put it back where I found it, I'd keep it somewhere else.

There's a good chance of you put it back, it may get moved and you wouldn't see it again.

That's if you aren't going to show it to him and ask him.

he may have not bought it necessary, it’s possible a friend/colleague gave him a little piece. Don’t jump to conclusions yet. Sorry to hear about the money issues OP.
