Baby already has the odd Wotsit and Quavers but what’s your opinion on NikNaks? This is the orange pack - Nice ‘N’ Spicy flavour btw.

YABU - it’s fine, I’d give it to a 14 month old
YANBU - I wouldn’t give it

No I wouldn't give junk like that to a 14 month old including Wotsits and Quavers.

Bluesheeps · 13/07/2023 21:37

Are you for real?

WhatNoRaisins · 13/07/2023 21:38

I would have thought they'd be a bit strong tasting for a 14 month old. Unless they've ruined them like other crisps I remember from my youth.

SnackSizeRaisin · 13/07/2023 21:38

I wouldn't give any of those crisps to a 14 month old

Beezknees · 13/07/2023 21:38

No. I only ever gave DS the baby crisps at that age, Organix I think?

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 13/07/2023 21:39

I wouldn't waste them on a 14 month old. Way too tasty. Give them the rib n saucy ones instead, they are gross.

Mela155 · 13/07/2023 21:40

Why are so many people giving their kids Niknaks! What on earth???

Saschka · 13/07/2023 21:41

I wouldn’t give any crisps to a baby - not exactly nutritious are they? And the baby won’t care either way, so why do it?

LittleBumblebee3 · 13/07/2023 21:42

I don’t feed any of them to my 2.5 year old, nevermind a 14 month old!

IsThatHuw · 13/07/2023 21:42

Nope.

Housekeeperbatcocoa · 13/07/2023 21:42

One or two as a taste/texture thing along side other stuff, sure. A full bag, no way.

RSintes · 13/07/2023 21:42

Wouldn't even give to a 14 year old.

Ineedsleepandcoffee · 13/07/2023 21:43

I wouldn't hand a 14 month any of them but if they happened to catch me with some(unlikely) I would let them have a taste. I don't think the niknaks are worse than the others.

Elphame · 13/07/2023 21:43

I wouldn't deliberately no but if they got hold of one and ate it I wouldn't be too worried.

Peacoffee · 13/07/2023 21:44

No to all three.
Just unnecessary.

00100001 · 13/07/2023 21:44

RSintes · 13/07/2023 21:42

Wouldn't even give to a 14 year old.

Why not???

KvotheTheBloodless · 13/07/2023 21:45

Too salty. I didn't give DS Wotsits or Quavers either - only those Organix carrot puffs occasionally.

There's plenty of time for them to eat more 'interesting' things when their bodies are ready for it, no need to rush.

Housenoob · 13/07/2023 21:46

Elphame · 13/07/2023 21:43

Same here. This is still the case with my 2.5 year old.

00100001 · 13/07/2023 21:46

If you've given them wotsits and waivers already then who cares?
It's not like quavers and wotsits are suitable or good quality foods to be giving a baby anyway. A niknak isn't exactly 100 x worse than those is it?

WeWereInParis · 13/07/2023 21:47

I wouldn't eat any of the crisps you mention, but if I was having a bag and my 14 month old came over (as she does whenever I eat, regardless of if I've just given her a full meal, or she has a plate of exactly the same food! 🙄) I might give her one I suppose.

RestingMurderousFace · 13/07/2023 21:47

Wouldn't even feed them to the dogs.

Is this some kind of reverse?

TomatoSandwiches · 13/07/2023 21:48

Heavens no, why would anyone do that?

Dacadactyl · 13/07/2023 21:48

I wouldn't give a 14 month old crisps of any kind whatsoever.

VerticalSausages · 13/07/2023 21:49

I think your voting options might be confusing people as you are clearly being ridiculous. Just no need. Pickled onion monster munch would be more appropriate

CatchHimDerry · 13/07/2023 21:50

Similar to PP, would give maybe 1 crisp for a little taste.

Whole bag noooooo
