Anyone else who jist can't keep thier eyes open at this time? I'm lucky to wfh so can crash on the sofa for 20 minutes but if u let myself I could sleep for well Over an hour. I go to bed at 11pm and up at 730 am. I just can't cope without a nap at 2pm. It doesn't matter what I eat for lunch.

If your schedule allows you to do this, and it helps you, then go for it. I have been known to take the odd afternoon nap - the odd thing is I never could in my twenties or thirties but I definitely can now in my forties! :)

I love a nap. Naps are my favourite thing! Now that I work part time I can nap on my days off, sometimes for over an hour. Bliss. On the days I work I don’t eat carbs for lunch as if I do I really struggle in the afternoons, I still want to nap though!

Mumsnet trope but this it's me at 20 with hypothyroidism. Daily nap and messing up uni. But I was young and it's probably normal after middle age I would if I had the chance

I'm jealous of all you nappers (my DP included)! I have never been able to nap and have been the same since I was very young apparently! I also can't sleep if it's remotely light outside and am up with the lark nowadays even if my DC isn't at home.

My 21 year old self would be horrified 😂

I have my best sleeps during the day for some reason, at bed time there is almost a pressure to fall asleep but daytime naps always feel so easy and natural. On an ideal day I would be up at 5:30 for a run/workout, drop kids at school work until 2 and then have a little nap before the kids get home. I never sleep longer than 20-30 mins and I always feel amazing afterwards. Unfortunately my day rarely works out like that anymore so I just spend half of the day short tempered and so exhausted I can’t think straight.

You need magnesium. It eliminates that afternoon bone tired feeling

What kind and dose please?
