To ask how to get through the night with a UTI

Never had a UTI before, then around lunchtime today I started peeing more and more frequently until by dinnertime it had become like being constantly desperate for the toilet but peeing brings relief for about 30 seconds and then I'm desperate again. Then the last two times I've been it's started stinging when I go and continues to sting afterwards. 111 have advised me to go the walk in centre first thing in the morning so I will, but what the hell am I supposed to to do tonight??? I won't be able to sleep a wink! I've been sitting on the toilet for a while just letting drips out as they come and before that I was on the sofa with an ice pack between my legs. Is there ANYTHING I can do besides take paracetamol and sit up all night in extreme discomfort?

Go to your doctor and ask for Oxybutynin. It a tablet to try and stop you weeing.i was under the bladder clinic, and they said I was fine, but I obviously not.so go to the doctors, and Don't have a cup of tea after 7.00 pm it helps a little bit.

Cranberry juice. I hate the stuff, but 1 litre drunk over an hour and half reduces the sting.
