Serious willpower fail. Ate very nearly a whole pack of cheddars. They are just so addictive! My willpower always caves when confronted with:

cheddars
cashew nuts
pringles
malteesers
grapes

… what are your vices?!

Gingerbeerfear · 07/07/2023 06:15

Wasabi coated nuts … and those seaweed thin things which nobody else seems to like

pambeeslyhalpert2 · 07/07/2023 06:18

Pringles- esp prawn cocktail, paprika, hot and spicy but really I'll eat any

Breadsticks and Nutella. Don't eat it often because it's so addictive

Strawberries

pambeeslyhalpert2 · 07/07/2023 06:19

Yes to giant wotsits. Can easily eat the bag. Same with any share bag of crisps!

MinnieMountain · 07/07/2023 06:26

Any cooked smoked sausage. I have to avoid that section of Lidl.

Twiglets1 · 07/07/2023 06:32

Blimey, the folks on the Ultra Processed People thread would have a fit at this!

Mine is Twiglets of course. And Salt & Vinegar Pringles 😋

Willmafrockfit · 07/07/2023 06:33

popcorn

MWNA · 07/07/2023 06:37

"You can get giant Wotsits now. Food of the Gods!"*

And you can get crunchy ones too! They're incredible.

Wicksytricksy · 07/07/2023 06:38

Barbeque popchips
Those 60p baguettes from supermarket bakery with loads of butter
Nutella, can't have a jar in the house

Duskstar · 07/07/2023 06:40

Chocolate fingers. Biscuits in general but a packet of chocolate fingers has no chance

Flidina · 07/07/2023 06:42

Tunnocks Teacakes
Walkers cheese and onion crisps
Hot cross buns slathered in butter

C1N1C · 07/07/2023 06:44

How has no-one said Jaffa Cakes?

Pretty much all the above:

Cashews
Tortilla chips
Prawn crackers

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 07/07/2023 06:46

I’m supposed to be on a diet but:-

any dip with most crackers. I love tzatziki preferably homemade but fine if not…

Scotch eggs with Charlotte baby potato salad (yes I know it’s technically a lunch!)

Peoperami

Bbq flavour hula hoops but agree with pp who said 70s snacks and crisps like Chipsticks

Any crisps

Thank god M&S stopped doing Tiffin squares, I love those, local cafe sells those and coconut macaroons, one cafe used to do the latter with chocolate on bottom and changed it and can’t decide if I prefer it or not.

If by seaside and was there the other weekend, hot crispy donuts straight from the stand there…

Cheese, any cheese. I got the cheapest Castello blue (danish) the other day from a Budgens type supermarket and was happily eating that. I shouldn’t eat them but have been known to have cheddar cheese and digestive biscuits. Apple plus latter is great. Little marmite cheeses.

Muller light chocolate pots - why did I discover these?! They have just the amount of chocolate for a hit but also conveniently placed next to evil Rolo and Flake chocolate mousse. I was in Waitrose the other day (little Waitrose) saw the larger chocolate mousse thought no that’s bad but got a couple each of the chocolate and cappuccino mousses. Then after eating the chocolate mousse realised Pret sold a better one. Pecan pie. Thank F I think Pret stopped selling them but another bakery does sell it infused with whiskey used to sell in slices but now only whole. reader last time I did buy an entire pie and had to give half away - it pained me!

It’s all addictive to me. If there’s a packet of biscuits in the house, I will eat the whole pack, my brain can not self-moderate.

So I don’t buy any of it and have lost two stone.

Oooh and Paddon peppers cooked charred in olive oil & covered in salt.

That was my plan don’t buy and no temptation but then I saw Skinny Whip bars and realised Pop Chios are lower in calories than crisps. Not as satisfying but have the crunch factor.

I made my own lunch (sandwiches) yesterday and added olives in a jar stuffed with peppers and garlic on the side. Mmmm 😋

On the subject of Padron peppers if anyone sees stuffed garlic olives anywhere let me know. Seriously yummy.

YouJustDoYou · 07/07/2023 06:50

Mini poppadoms and lime pickle/mango chutney. Also, Aldi's rosemary and salt flatbreads with garlic creamcheese, drool.

Seaweed peanut crackers. Like little crunchy balls of crack.

Yes love these. And chocolate peanut butter cups!

Ooo you've just reminded me of those Spanish olives stuffed with anchovies in a tin. Bloody delicious.
