Given that the ex claims to have found an unauthorised, hidden, sex tape of a colleague - unknown to her prior to disclosure - I guess its safe to assume DW has collected the dirt on many. And nobody is quite sure what he knows. And what he can show. This is purely my own speculation and I have no evidence of anything untoward.

Well no doubt his employer will conduct a thorough and transparent investigation of all such rumours, making detailed daily progress reports to the public whether he has actually done anything wrong or not.

It's in the public interest, after all.

And actually in this case, if the rumours are about fellow staff members (especially more junior ones), it's quite genuinely within the employer's remit.

By the sounds of things I would say a lot of people are frightened of him and biding their time, and also although he'll be known to every journo in the UK for the general public he doesn't have anywhere near the same high profile as Huw Edwards.

I know DW as we worked on the same publication, although it was ages ago. He isn't a bad person. He's a showbiz journalist, that's his job. Separate the man from the job. He is paid to be a shock jock type reporter.

Why should we? There are allegations of secret filming of people having sex, possibly for blackmail purposes. Perhaps it was to help him with his job?

I think given recent events, any media outlet would be treading carefully and waiting for actual evidence before reporting what a former partner said.
