Would you go away alone with young dc

Dh and I aren’t getting along at the moment, I mainly avoid him, but try to get on when near him, but he stresses me out and I just don’t feel that happy.
I saw a short break (1-2 nights) for a great deal-5 star hotel, pool, kids club, by the beach etc.
We live abroad and it would be around a 1 hour, 15 minute drive away.
I have an almost 5 year old Dd, we have great fun together, she’s off Pre school on Mondays and I don’t work Mondays, Dh does and can’t get it off work.
Would you go away for a relaxing break (would it be that on my own with a 4 year old?! 😂) for a long weekend?
I’ve never done it before…anyone ever gone alone before?

I have and had an excellent relationship with my dp but I used to go away for little breaks with one or both of my children. And so did he. We all loved it and have many happy memories. Go for it!

Do lots of you have a *Better time just you and a dc/dcs?

I wouldn’t say better or worse, I take her on my own because DH has a busy job and gets less time off than me. We manage just fine and have a great time and she loves some uninterrupted mummy time!

I've done it loads! It's so much fun.

Yes absolutely I would although be warned that it is tiring!
My grandmother lives in a nursing home in the New Forest, I take DD on my own to
visit and as it is 5hrs drive (with stops) we usually stay for 2 nights and combine it with fun things like the beach etc.

1hr 15 drive is nothing. Iam 1hr away on a normal commute day!

I've been doing this with my daughter since she was 6 months old, never a problem.
