To think this was rude (mammogram related)

So yesterday I went for my first mammogram. I have big boobs. Walked in and the nurse said "obviously you've quite big so we might need to take more photos". Not rude but made me feel a bit self conscious. Then so she was pressing my boob onto the machine said "blimey these are really heavy!!" AIBU to think they was rude? I mean she wasn't wrong but did she need to point it out? It wasn't said in a kindly way.

Its rude in my opinion. Every time I go for a mammo, I get comments like "your breasts are quite large arent they" (this has happened every single time from different nurses) and I always think, "NO!- I had no idea, thanks so much for pointing out the bloody obvious to me". Like, why say this? I get it if it affects the mammogram but its never that, its ALWAYS just a random and pointless observation. I dont get it- these people see all types of bodies all day long, surely its not that weird to see different boob sizes (mine arent even "that" big- 36D). It really irritates me.

Some nurses are like this.
Insensitive, crass and blunt.

They need to be reminded to show some respect as patients are in a vulnerable situation whilst having mammograms and comments like that cause offence.

Complain, if you wish OP, you are a human being, not an inanimate object. Animals get treated with more kindness at vetinary surgeries.

Lost count of the number of times friends and aquaintences have gone through situations like this and worse.
