To let the tyres down on a car that parks in Mother/Baby space with no kids?

Not that I have ever done it, but I really get annoyed when I have to try and find a parking space that will allow me to actually open the car door enough to get my baby out without wholloping the car door into the car next door when some moron who has no kids parks in a designated space meant for us Mums!!!!
Today I spent an age going round and round Tesco's trying to find a space wide enough ARGHHHHHHHHHH!

and step away from the stay at home vs working mums argument [smiles]

ArmadilloDaMan · 19/02/2008 21:38

private vs state schools is also good, partic if you throw in a comment about those who go to church solely to get their kids into state schools.

Ooh and start one on the pros and cons of smacking.

Rhubarb · 19/02/2008 21:40

No no no, you want to start one about how working class people are lazy bastards who deserve to be poor and probably have a working class gene in there.

And then go on about how wonderful you are and how you have pots of money and are super-intelligent and never put a foot wrong.

That'll get 'em going!

lazarou · 19/02/2008 21:41

And if you are going to argue a case for smacking always insist it is only ever done through fear 'Oh yes, my two year old ran in to the road so I had to wallop him'
Etc

Than follow it up with a SAHM vs WOHM debate. Stand back and watch the fireworks

lazarou · 19/02/2008 21:43

'how can I get my two week old baby into a routine? She is reluctant to sleep through the night'

scruffy1995 · 19/02/2008 21:44

Okay - I'm making notes here!!!! Hopefully I shall be safe when I let people know that I went to work the day after I gave birth, love a porn cracker and think smacking my vicar until my son gets a place in a private school is acceptable??
(and no I don't do the above!!!)

The dog-hater v dog-lover ones can be good too I may have to start another one of those soon - if I find whoever keeps letting their mutt crap at my front gate they'll be getting a wee present through their letterbox.

GreebosWhiskers · 19/02/2008 21:48

Oh and hello btw

scruffy1995 · 19/02/2008 21:51

I say sod the m&t spaces, I just park near the back of the car park, near the main path straddling the white line between 2 spaces so I take up both, drivers side in one, passenger in the other... tee hee!

moljam · 19/02/2008 22:30

misdee · 19/02/2008 22:35

welcome scruffy.

scruffy1995 · 19/02/2008 22:38

That maybe wasn't the initial intention - but what the heck, I've enjoyed it!!!

PMSL - welcome scruffy

Get a name without numbers though - they are rather infra dig - shall we help you find one?

scruffy1995 · 19/02/2008 22:44

My name refers to my handwriting - unreadable most times!!! I beleive the numbers had to be added because there is a scruffy already registered?
I'm open to ideas though - I'd need help in getting it changed (not familiar with how to do that!!!!).
BTW what the heck is "infra dig"?

OP posts:
fletchaaarr · 19/02/2008 22:47

Infra dig is me pretending I haven't had 2 glasses of wine (means not on-ish, not the done thing, that kind of stuff)
