He claims some people in the industry aren’t nice and polite, like they portray themselves to be and behind the scenes they treat people badly…that people are starting to see through it now and all will be revealed…

Schofield had an affair with a young runner on TM. He’d met the guy originally when he was about twelve and they remained in touch, Schofield then got him the job at TM when he finished school and moved down to London. They began a relationship soon after and he became Schofield ‘assistant’ on both TM and Dancing on Ice. Some time in late 2019 it all turned sour and Schofield had him removed from TM and all hell let loose. Allegedly he tried to sell his story to The Sun and this is why Schofield dramatically ‘came out’ in early 2020. Luckily for him just a few weeks later a global pandemic happened and the press lost interest in the story.

Anyway all of this was an open secret at TM and is allegedly the reason Ruth, Eamon and Rylan all left as they were so disgusted at the young runners treatment. You could argue that he was groomed. I personally feel that he was.

All of this is in the public domain. Just Google it. I’m not naming the runner as he appears to have moved on with his life and left television altogether to work in a normal profession.

Article in the DM today about Phil and holly not being such close friends anymore, I bet that’s Holly’s PR doing some damage limitation!

The problem is that Phil and Holly have been pushed down our throats for so long by ITV without questioning whether the public wanted them.

For a long time, literally every single show on ITV was presented by either Phil, Holly or as a duo, and the ones that weren't presented by them, were presented by Ant and Dec.

But whereas A&D have judged their whole persona on taking the mick/messing around, Holly and Phil have tried to become whiter than white, whilst also being allegedly arseholes to the people behind the scenes. That's why the press kicked off so much about Queue gate, because they finally had a chance to let people know what they are really like.

Dan Wooten (as vile as he is) has publicly come out and said that Phil tried to get him sacked by ITV multiple times. Amanda Holden said the same. Eamon and Ruth also said the same. When many high profile people with little to lose are publicly saying that you're an arsehole, perhaps you are an arsehole!

I don't know anything about that, but I do know that they are annoying, childish and really not very good presenters. It's all about them, rather than showcasing whatever they are supposed to be presenting. Ant and Dec, Amanda Holden, these two are all the same. It's self-centredness rather than presenting. Ant and Dec just laugh and giggle like they are in the playground. I would love to see them off my screens permanently. (Actually they are, I don't watch things they are in).

I worked with Rylan early in my career - nicest guy you could meet.

Dan Wootton is awful, a really nasty person but he will not let this go and can hold a grudge like no one’s business. He’s like a dog with a bone now.

@Emotionalsupportviper Dan Wooten is an absolutely vile person. He has been known to out people when he was at The Sun (there was a guy from Hollyoaks years ago who confirmed this).

He was also the person who led the press attacks on Alexandra Burke during Strictly literally weeks after her mum died.

He's a truly nasty person - just read his columns and see how much bullying he's done of Meghan Markle.

I like Rylan. I watched the podcast about him, Ross Meet Rylan or something like that (Ross is his real name). He came across really well and genuine I thought.

Peter Powell, former DJ turned entertainment big noise. She did the dirty on him.

I like Rylan. Like Dolly Parton he’s chosen a fake image and embraces it, so, like Eamonn, he presents an authentic self, not a representation of who he thinks will get ahead more. Unlike others.

Rylan is hardly a Z lister as PP said upthread, he does loads of presenting work for BBC and ITV and probably other channels

Why would Anthea be dependent on Grant Bovey for her career though, I’ve no idea who he was before her (or since). I think Anthea’s problem (apart from that chocolate merching at her wedding) is she’s too twee for most people’s tastes, just too children’s presenter bubbly for an adult audience.

I like that about Ant & Dec, they come across as more genuine and like they're having a good time, and it works with the tone of their scripted lines and their personas. Whereas with Holly & Phil it comes across a lot as laughing at people or the same one joke about something being an innuendo.

What I like about Rylan is that he's had a long journey and it's not from who he already knew in the industry or his family getting him a foot in the door.

A lot of people don't know that before X Factor he was on a reality TV show Katie Price hosted about finding a new model. He really did start from the very bottom 😂

Well, who knew? Of course, slebs are two-faced, not really a surprise.

I remember that, and I remember Alexandra being in pieces and even that being mocked too, implying she was turning on the waterworks to get votes on Strictly. It was awful. I think the only unintentional bit of good that came out of it is that she re-established a better relationship with her dad who had been off the radar since her parents' divorce.

The whole thing was bizarre, as the woman who was married to Grant Bovey, who wasn't famous, (neither was Grant Bovey for that matter) suddenly tried to be a celebrity and "show him what he was missing", turning up at premieres and appearing in Hello! Christ knows where they are now.
