Is it me? Or is she everywhere.........nothing personal but lots of other women have had a baby too!

Only read OP and latest couple of posts...

And don't have time to keep up with celebrity gossip these days as too busy on MN

BUT....

GIVE THE WOMAN A BREAK! She seemed pretty normal and down to earth on Richard and Judy. She might bang on about having a baby in the public eye but so would I if I got paid hundreds of thousands of pounds for doing so. So probably would most of you. Instead you just bang on about it on here instead.

So yes, YABU. She probably doesn't think she is the only woman to have given birth. She is finding her feet as have we all. Just banging on about it in a different form, thats all

I feel sorry for her, she went on maternity leave and lost her job on the one show, but due to the industry and being self employed the bbc could get away with it, thats why she needs the book deal.

sparklesandwine · 18/02/2008 19:28

lol i saw her on a show yesterday morning harping on about 'how she had been through everything a normal pg would have and sooo much more!!'

i must admit i did laugh at that comment and think 'oh just get over yourself'

but on the whole i don't mind her she's quite sweet

...maybe i should write a book as a 'normal' person having 'normal' pregnancies, no one ever has it bad as a celeb has it!!

I was just starting to like her but now...

she is just boring and I want her to go away. She is EVERYWHERE at the moment and her baby is ONLY 6 months old. Are we going to have a diary serialisation every year for the next 18 years????

scottishmummy · 18/02/2008 19:39

she exudes that really annoying i-am-woman-i-am-mother-i-am-smug, leaves me thinking i-am-woman-i-am-mother-i-am-not-bothered

bitofadramaqueen · 18/02/2008 19:42

Has this thread mentioned that she is promoting her 'music for mothers' cd at the moment?

CrushWithEyeliner · 18/02/2008 19:54

I just think if you were to spike her she would start to default like the robot women in the stepford wives..she really knows just what to say so it sounds oh so natural and seem really down to earth. I saw her 4 weeks post baby on GMTV hurling out all her pearls of wisdom about being a Mum and how she wanted "a hundred more babies I just LOVE them..." I'm sorry it sounded SO weird to me, to say "I still feel a bit fragile" would have made me warm to her

i had dd1 the same time as fiona phillips from gmtv had one of hers and even i was like "give it a rest fiona"
