Maidamess · 17/02/2008 22:25

My sil still thinks she is the only woman ever to have given birth, and is always giving me pearls of wisdom. I want to nut her one.

satine · 17/02/2008 22:27

Ha ha I'm FINE thank you Cod!
Although I have sadly gone and got myself a proper job which puts a right dent in my former pastime of sitting at home, eating cake.
I've missed you all!

DualCycloneCod · 17/02/2008 22:27

and sleb-bashing?
yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnn

WendyWeber · 17/02/2008 22:33

Tell you who has a really really fantastic body, and a baby, and doesn't bang on about it - Nell McAndrew

(Do you think the comment underneath from Norman in Bristol is a tad saracastic?)

bookwormmum · 17/02/2008 22:33

I was pg at the same time as Lowri Turner - she was about a month ahead of me with Griffin I think. And Cherie Blair with Leo come to that. I actually admired her for keeping her gob mostly shut re her pg.

bookwormmum · 17/02/2008 22:35

Norman is evidently a man of few words. Or is gay .

I read that thread a few weeks ago (silly, misguided woman). I actually meant Cherie, not Lowri.

VanillaPumpkin · 18/02/2008 16:05

I really liked her pre baby. She seemed very sensible about it all. I have gone off her a bit post baby as she seems to have fallen into the celeb mum traps I so hoped she was intelligent enough to avoid. She is very clever, very talented and very beautiful though so perhaps I am just jealous .

MrsMattie · 18/02/2008 16:06

She's raking in the money, isn't she? Has she done an exercise DVD yet? Or an autobiography? Or a home furnishings range? No? Well be on the look out for all that and more pretty soon...

flowerybeanbag · 18/02/2008 16:07

I do like Myleene Klass but I think she is suffering from severe over-exposure - since she had her baby especially she seems to crop up everywhere, gets annoying!

VanillaPumpkin · 18/02/2008 16:13

Yes. flowery. That is it! She is everywhere and I want to ask where her baby is every time I see her when it is fuck all of my business and she is really just another working mum

flowerybeanbag · 18/02/2008 16:16

I know! I so don't want to be judgyjudgerson either but I always find myself saying 'Where's her child?' impatiently to DH when she is on the telly or radio doing something yet again.

VanillaPumpkin · 18/02/2008 16:20

Exactly. I am annoyed with myself as much as her! What use am I to the sisterhood?

SueBaroo · 18/02/2008 16:23

I do love the photo of her gazing adoringly at her newborn. Very beautiful.

But getting a bit much now, yes. Although not as annoying as my SIL, who told me in authoritative tones, after I'd given birth to my third child, that babies can keep you awake.

spokette · 18/02/2008 16:40

No, YANBU. Like all dullard slebs, they think they are the fountain of all knowledge and need to educate the vacuous masses. Hence the plethora of exercise DVDs, pregnancy books, etc, etc etc.

Personally, I would like someone to take one of these irritating, pregnant slebs, leave them in a developing country with none of the ante/postnatal care/nannies etc that they have here and then see if they would still twitter on inanely about the joys of motherhood without a hair out of place, manicured nails and perfect make up. Grrrrrr!

claireybee · 18/02/2008 16:56

at that Lowri Turner article

fiona76 · 18/02/2008 17:03

Careful shes on Richard and Judy!!!

flowerybeanbag · 18/02/2008 17:04

Oh good lord just turned the telly on and she's on Richard and Judy...

wheresthehamster · 18/02/2008 17:14

God it's painful, I can't listen any more.....
