It’s just a soft toy?

I have an autistic child who's obsessive over soft toys and chooses them by texture. He didn't have a jellycat until he was about 9 and since then, nothing else has hit that spot. I can imagine that whatever makes them so special to him will have wider appeal to other children.

They are really really soft. If you have the kind of DC who love to rub soft things on their faces (I do) then Jellycat toys are the perfect ones.

They state they are suitable from birth. Most sort toys say suitable from 3m+ and upwards.

My 8 year old still sleeps with his jellycat rabbit. They're so durable and very cute

I don't think there's much of an obsession really, like anything some people collect them but most I suspect like the quality, that they're suitable from birth, there are cute designs some of which are unusual.

Their faces are just so cute, my teens still get a little one each in their Christmas stickings!
