We get bin bags, washing powder, muffins and pastries and I get a chocolate fudge cake each year for my birthday which is miles better than the sheet cakes. Also the sticky toffee drizzle loaf is a must too

I love:

  • their huge punnets of strawberries
  • baklava - its not their own brand but its delicious. In the Glasgow shop, its located around the corner from the fruit/veg. £12 for a big package. Well worth it as baklava can be so pricey but at least this stuff is yummy too
  • Sushi - we are sushi fanatics and this is a good saving and quality is still up there
  • Pizza meal deals from the café. We phone in for the meal deal (huge pizza, huge garlic bread and 2L of Pepsi) for a tenner. Does our family of 4. Biggest bargain in Costco if you ask me.
  • Kirkland chocolate spread. So much tastier than real Nutella and I thik its £5 for two big jars

Honestly, we just go to Costco and have a bit of a free for all. Clearly we are not mature enough for logical purchasing of loo rolls and washing powder type of shop. Just there for the yummy stuff :)

I have a standard list that's bought from Costco on a quarterly basis, with smaller loads in between (one of my work sites is over the road so I can nip in), notable mentions are:

Lemon Drizzle cake
Gastro Scampi
Steak mince
Fillet steaks
Kirkland Kitchen Rolls
Kirkland Non Bio Laundry Liquid

I love their wraps. They last three days, so we eat them for lunch/brunch/supper. I like their beef stew/cottage pies/lasagne for a break from cooking. Their food isn't cheap, but it's nice. Cheaper than eating out and gives me a break (my DP is disabled and can't cook). The Flora buttery 1kg pack was cheaper than Tesco, this week and I liked the metal rooster for the garden. Men's polos £10 each. It helps if you have family to share toilet rolls etc with. As said the chicken nuggets, including the sweet and sour. I've got my eye on outdoor lights and a cooling fan. The LG televisions are a good price. The strawberries look nice.

Many years ago I used to have a Makro card. Have Costco replaced Makro?

No. Booker own makro. Costco is a membership scheme as apposed to a cash and carry

If you haven't set off yet the Korean spicy chicken in the freezer. It. Is. Delicious.
