‘Weird’ food combinations that you like?

For me, it has to be melted chocolate and salty chippy chips😋what’s a ‘weird’ food combo that you quite like?

I've been known to make peanut butter sandwiches involving ham and mustard.

But I'm not British/american and to me peanuts are a savoury food, end of. The thought of mixing peanuts (even in the form of butter) and jam/marmalade/jelly is utterly foreign to me.

Plain digestive spread with runny honey, topped with sliced mature cheddar 😋

I'm pregnant and some of these combos are getting me going! Heading to the shops tomorrow

Chocolate and ready salted crisps really do marry as the chefs say lol. I can't get enough of the combination, so delicious! Good choice on your weird yet ever so wonderful food choice!

Batchelors mild curry noodles on cheap buttered white bread, with grated cheese on top.

Perfection.

White bread, butter and demerara sugar sandwiches. Sausages with marmalade. Cheddar cheese and honey sandwiches. And - Now that I have to be on a strict diabetic diet, low carb crisp rolls liberally spread with butter and no sugar marmalade and topped with cheddar cheese.

My son went through primary school eating "ham jam" sandwiches for lunch: wafer thin sliced ham and Nutella which he called chocolate jam

I don't eat chocolate containing palm oil so don't have this now, but used to like Galaxy chocolate washed down with Newcastle brown.. 😬

Chicken/lamb/ veg curry with hot chappati and jam.. mmmm.. remember the look of disgust on my ex H face when he saw me eat it first time 🤣
Salty fries and ice cream (hangover from pregnancies) it seems a sweet/ salty thing for me.. chocolate ganache pot with cheese and onion crisps.. I need to go shops now....

Cracker s with cheese on microwaved for 10 seconds.

Dry weetabix with butter on top.

There are some seriously weird combos here! I love it! 🤣.

Mine is what I’ve just had - a pudding with custard and a scoop of ice cream melting into the hot custard. Nectar of the gods

Digestive biscuit with coleslaw and cheddar cheese I love it with pickled onions on the side

I also love to just heat a bowl of sweet corn with butter and salt

Tinned mackerel with cottage cheese, but the cottage cheese must be from Lidl

Ready salted crisps and vanilla ice cream.

Pineapple and marmite. Yummy together.

I love the Alpro dark chocolate 'puddings'. I add a handful of salted peanuts.....then use as a dip for batten 🥕

@prettybird this is one of my guilty pleasures I love it....my children are disgusted by me! Has to be honey roast wafer thin ham though with Nutella
