‘Weird’ food combinations that you like?

For me, it has to be melted chocolate and salty chippy chips😋what’s a ‘weird’ food combo that you quite like?

Mars bar toastie.

Golden wonder salt & vinegar crisps dipped in irn bru....especially filling the bubbles in the crisps.

Chocolate fresh out the fridge with an ice cold glass of water.

Homemade clootie dumpling fried, with a fried egg on top.

On thick white bread. Heaven.

Have you tried Brie in your hot cross bun?

I see this and raise you crunchy peanut butter, strong cheddar, cherry tomatoes and mayonnaise with a bit of salt and pepper. Absolutely beautiful but definitely a bit weird

I used to love buttered ryvita with apricot jam.

Banana and marmite sandwiches, weetabix eaten like a cracker with soft cheese and egg

I have a few...
Ready salted/ salt and vinegar crisps with Vinegar in.
Ready salted crisps dipped in hp brown sauce.
Savoury style thin pancakes with hp brown sauce.
Galaxy chocolate melted and mixed into crushed up shredded wheat. (Eaten from the bowl, i dont go as far as making chocolate treats for the kids)

Also years ago I remember Mars bar and apple sandwiches using brown bread being popular

DH was appalled when he first saw me adding vinegar to a packet of ready salted. He now knows the joy of the little puddle of salty, vinegary crumbs in the corner.

Marmite and cheese on crumpets

I've got a few:

Flake chocolate bar sandwiches
Sugar sandwiches
Salad cream/tomato sauce sandwiches
Tin of sweetcorn heated up with tomato sauce mixed in and eaten out of a bowl
Smash and corned beef mixed together

I love ready salted crisps and chocolate buttons! I'd put a couple of crisps in my mouth then a couple of buttons and it just melts in my mouth so heavenly mmm!

Try hot cross buns with melted cheese for a seasonal alternative to Xmas came

Plain pasta, preferably quick cook not dried, still a bit wet with black pepper and sprinkle of nice grated MS white cheddar. Then a pasta sandwich full of it.

I have to confess to your Tuna, Mayo & Branston Pickle sandwiches as being absolutely mouthwatering!😋. You've a good taste in a weird yet wonderful food combination! 😀

i love a croissant with raspberry jam and mature cheddar cheese which I don’t think is that odd but keep getting told it is. I love a sweet/salty combo so also totally all over the smoked bacon, French toast, maple syrup thing!

Slightly more off piste I think - for a hangover can’t beat icy cold Coca Cola with mini cheddars.
