Totally agree, none of the rooms on here are particularly cosy, they're lovely but not what I'd call cosy, too sparse with everything placed strategically. Cosy is more, erm, ramshackle is the wrong word, just less formal? There aren't any random piles of books, knitting, a cat, mugs of tea, lots of photos, pictures, it's not unaffected enough if I'm making sense! Love the teal though, but I'd put loads of pictures on the wall for interest.

@wynee again! I am so glad that you have the ability and vision to decorate your home in the way that you love, and that you don't feel the need to follow prescriptive fashion mores. In fact, if we have long sunny days, and that is what people like, then they can spend most of their days outside, but when it is that sunny and hot, I think it could make a nice refreshing change to come back into a darker and cooler looking room in the evenings - I think that gives you the best of both worlds then!

@wynee I love your living room. I have similar colours in mine & it’s my favourite room. I love a bit of colour, especially teal & I realised a while ago I had something teal in pretty much every room! I’m not keen on the trend for very neutral decor, colour lifts my spirits!
