Footballers are a bunch of cheating, ridiculous drama queens.

I say this as someone who watches A LOT of professional rugby

All the drama, the over playing injury, the desperate way they try and get an advantage

They're an embarrassment.

Football is the only sport where video technology has been brought in and made the game worse

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't a rugby player recently caught licking the bumhole of a woman who wasn't his wife. Down a laneway. Next to a Gregg's?

I believe he was a rugby league player. Different thing entirely.

Joe Westerman is rugby league. It's terribly different altogether to the beautiful sport of Union.

Anyway, rugby (even Union!) players can be right twats too. Just look at Austin Healey.

Footballers roll around, it's part of the culture, everyone hates it but it doesn't change. The sheer violence of rugby makes it far worse.

I grew up in a rugby house and know some awful, out and out thug stories, horrific injuries that people would be arrested for, off a rugby pitch.

I'll be far happier if my son plays football.

One minute I'm getting a BBC alert saying Harry Kane is an all time top scorer, the best he's crawling on hands and knees in agony cos the ball hit him. Then he's on his feel again. Just cringe worthy

Kane got winded by the ball and landed off the pitch. He crawled back on the pitch in case he needed treatment. If he'd stayed off the pitch and needed treatment then we'd have been playing with 10 men for however long. It was tactical, not cheating really

DH it's all with a funny shaped ball, it's the same.

I'm not really a rugby fan. In fact I think rugby is a fools game. But they don't crowd round the ref whinging. They don't roll around in mock agony. They don't blatantly cheat.

And the fans all mix together drinking pints. Whole different mind set

But they don't crowd round the ref whinging.

There are specific rules to stop them doing that. If the referee gives a penalty against your team, and you mouth off at him, he immediately moves the penalty ten metres up the field. That ten metres is far more important in rugby than football.

That said, I wish football would introduce something to stop players crowding the referee.
