Why don't the police care?

I have a very, very unpleasant neighbour. If I told you all about his unpleasantness I'd be here all day.

However, one of the biggest issues is his drink driving and the fact he is driving around in an uninsured, untaxed vehicle with no MOT.

I've reported him to the police and the DVLA but nothing has happened. He's still driving around pissed and still has no insurance, tax etc. It's only a matter of time before he has an accident - although looking a the state of his car he already has. He drives his wife and kids around in his car...why isn't his wife bothered?

How is it that people like this get away with it?

Tell their school. Someone was doing this at our school and the headteacher had the police waiting "doing spot checks" on the terrible parking that happens around most schools.

They were there for the drink driving dad in his shitty car really though.

That's a good idea.

The Casey report said that recent cuts to the Met was the equivalent to losing 9600 full time officers, in a time of much greater demand. Other forces feeling the same pressures. Its not that nobody gives a shit. Its that there isn't anyone around to give a shit.

I'd ask to be put through straight to the traffic police as that's their bread and butter
It's disgusting behaviour

Roads policing is completely fucked too. Blame Tory cuts.
