To feel annoyed that one of my neighbours leaves her 12yr old son alone during half term........

and without asking me I appear to be chilminding.
Her DS will call round to my house to see my DDS and before I know it I am feeding him lunch and he is here for the remainder of the day.
It would appear that my neighbour has made no provision for childcare for him.
It just makes me soooo yet I feel so mean for resenting giving him a bit of lunch.
I end up hating myself but I spose I am at her for being so cavalier with regards to her DS

Wellymelly - this thread is 3.5 years old. The boy in question might be married now.

Drama - Why don't you PM her and ask her to add an update to the thread?

If I had been allowed to be alone all day at 12, I'd have bloody love it.....
But I couldn't leave a 12 year old alone every day, all day alone.
However I do think at 12 the boy should be capable of getting himself a sandwich, making toast, boiling an egg, warming up a pre-prepared meal, making oven chips etc.
At that age the only problem would be loneliness imho.
