@Swiftswatch I was wondering if it had been seized to be sold under proceeds of crime

Probably.

JunkinDonuts · 08/03/2023 06:48

They strip everything out for evidence if so.
The venting ducts are still there as are some lights and lamps.
So no.
A lot of growers rent a place for a max of twelve months before moving on, it looks to me like they've either been evicted or left in a rush and the owner is selling as seen.

MrsJackGrealish · 08/03/2023 07:05

Definitely a weed farm.

It might be a nice flat when all that shit is out.

Misunderestimated · 08/03/2023 07:32

Ideal home for a 'growing' family.

FirstnameSuesecondnamePerb · 08/03/2023 07:34

A 2 bed flat in finchley with pp to convert the loft into 2 more flats? Feckin bargain. If I had the money or the skills.....

Maedan · 08/03/2023 07:39

That's really cheap for that area even in that condition. Being sold cheaply because of the drug growing obviously. I'd buy it, once done up you could more than double your investment I reckon.

LittleAIexHorne · 07/03/2023 23:45

Lol !!! Someone was on drugs certainly !

The property developer in me knows this is a bargain though, only serious investors will bid. North London flat with blood splattered on walls would sell.

A flat with planning to convert into two flats could bring an income of 3 grand a month or flip and sell for 300K each will sell itself.

Justmeandthedog1 · 08/03/2023 07:59

The photos aren’t a problem to a property developer, it’ll have to be cleared before completion. PP in place…. It’ll turn a good profit.

TheGlitterFairy · 08/03/2023 08:13

It’s an auction lot so they’ll just take the photos as is. Really low starting point for the property - as a PP said it’ll go for at least double that as has great potential and good location.

TheGlitterFairy · 08/03/2023 08:15

And yes if I had the funds now I’d be looking to snap it up as great rental or resale potential!

Tanith · 08/03/2023 08:29

Perhaps they left it in place for the advertisement value. I think half the country must have seen it by now Grin

LumpyandBumps · 08/03/2023 08:32

It looks to be in a state, but taking out the ventilation pipes and leaving holes might make it look even worse.
Some of the equipment can probably be sold on. It’s very expensive.

Travelationjubilation · 08/03/2023 08:41

Location location location. It’s an absolute bargain

CMO · 08/03/2023 08:44

SmartHome · 07/03/2023 23:49

Hahahah cheap for a 2 bed flat in London but omg why haven't they moved all the evidence that it was a weed growing enterprise from the rooms!!!

That's an extra selling point. It comes eqipped for the nextx owner.

Who would you sell it to?

TimeForThunder · 08/03/2023 08:47

For sale: 2-bed flat and small business enterprise 😄

annemac101 · 08/03/2023 08:48

It's a unusual flat. I don't know how you would walk down that narrow corrider. Would have to be a contractor with experience who buys it. It's going to take a lot of work.

Bornin1989 · 08/03/2023 08:50

There are still clippings on the floor 😂

ichifanny · 08/03/2023 08:58

imagine it on homes under the hammer .. what time would they play on it ? Because I got high by Afroman 😂

ichifanny · 08/03/2023 08:59

What tune rather

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 08/03/2023 09:00

@annemac101 where are you seeing the corridor? I can only see photos of rooms and I can't find a layout plan

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 08/03/2023 09:03

It will probably be sold but I bet they've trashed the electrics as well. Probably bypassed the meter so it's a massive fire hazard. It'll take a fair bit of work to make it safe.

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 08/03/2023 09:05

From a news site:

Auction House London has clarified that clean-up operations after illegal activities is not part of the auction house's responsibility.
A spokesperson said: "We believe in giving our buyers all the information they need to make an informed decision, and it is important to provide a fair representation of the property in its current form.
"We pride ourselves on transparency and honesty in all our dealings and maintain our high standards, even with properties that may have a controversial past.
"Selling properties with a history of illegal activity can be challenging; our buyers must be well-informed about the properties they purchase. Our buyers are our priority, and we believe providing them with a fair and ethical auction experience is critical for their satisfaction and peace of mind."

If that’s your line of business it’s handy, it’s fully furnished!
imagine the state of the electric
