This beauty even comes with its own business, so you’re getting an absolute bargain!

I honesty don’t know why they didn’t think to clear it out before they took the photos.

The police only take the green stuff, the equipment in itself is not illegal.

Just realised I’ve linked zoopla.

It has now been removed from rightmove but it’s still on zoopla.

Lol! I was about to call you out as being unreasonable for sharing a Zooplankton link but referencing Rightmove in the title!

BruceAndNosh · 06/03/2023 10:28

If I bought that, I want to be absolutely sure that I wasn't going to be landed with the previous occupant's electricity bill

MrsWojadobakowsky · 06/03/2023 10:36

I assumed it had been raided, hence leaving it as it was.
Maybe the owner is not able to deal with it due to being 'on holiday'.
Properties in Finchley are not the most expensive part of London, it's a bit run down looking generally, Finchley also has different areas, some better than others.

I’m looking to buy at the moment and I can’t get over the amount of people who don’t bother tidying up/making a bed/putting crap away before estate agents take pictures.

CableTidy · 06/03/2023 10:39

This is my current obsession! www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/132074525#/?channel=RES_BUY

This is on mail online

An honest estate agent (falls off chair)!
So they do exist, I assumed they were like unicorns.
At least you know what you are getting yourself into.

I always think that too!

I’ve seen beds unmade and dirty laundry over the floor.
It would take much to just move it out of the way for a photo.

That’s the most shocking thing!
That the estate agent is actually being honest! 😂

Who do you think they were supplying, the Chemist or the Vape shop ? I cant see it selling as its got quite a short lease as well 😯

118 years is a very good length actually

Angliski · 06/03/2023 10:45

This happened to a friend of mine. She had recently refurbished her property to a really high standard. Tenants came in during lock down, passed full referencing. Then destroyed the place with their hydroponics. Terrible .

Fleabea · 06/03/2023 10:46

🤣

Indoor garden rooms can really add value to a property.

It was kind of them to tidy up before the estate agent photos were taken.

MrsAvocet · 06/03/2023 10:50

I'm laughing at the advertising on this thread. I've just had this pop up mid thread...😂

To think I have found the best rightmove gem.
fyn · 06/03/2023 10:51

It’s going to auction sold as seen, it’s not uncommon for a problem property to do this where the tenant has trashed it or whatever.

I also wonder why people don’t look at Zoopla… it is much cheaper to use as a letting agent so you’ll get smaller agents using it to advertise property. Always worth looking at!

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 06/03/2023 11:01

I think the Estate Agents could have used a better tune to the 'virtual tour' than the jaunty little tune they chose - maybe Ganja Gun by Bob Marley?

I thought these people usually bypassed the meters- so free electricity perhaps!!

Clarinet1 · 06/03/2023 11:04

I actually quite like that - it’s quirky. Would want to do some work though - certainly reinstate separate access to the second bedroom.

Clarinet1 · 06/03/2023 11:06

CableTidy · 06/03/2023 10:39

Oops - meant to quote this!

Whowhatwherewhenwhy1 · 06/03/2023 11:06

Getting the smell out would be tricky. I would also want to k ow that the police had been made aware of its previous use and change of use now to avoid any unwarranted door smashes!

To be fair, this lot may well have been in HMP Pentonville

Gincan · 06/03/2023 11:09

I wonder if it will be on Homes Under the Hammer 😂

From her Little Book of Racist Tropes.

Available in all good bookshops

As said not racist. The younger people/teens who died in the lorry coming from Vietnam were all promised such jobs. The weed farms that are being busted in our region is staffed by kids from Vietnam who are basically locked in the property. There's people trafficking done country by country depending on what role is needing filling.
