For this to have given me the serious ick?

I was friendly with a 28 year old man. Long story short - he wanted to date me but I wanted to keep it just friends. The thing is - he never had experience with relationships and/or sexual experience - but that's not the main issue - the issue is this - he kept on saying - in the context of talking about his attitude to life - "my dad (he still lived with parents) says that I'm often a negative-saurus but sometimes I can sometimes be a positive-saurus". was like wtf??! This is the language primary school teachers used to use to us when we were 5! More red flags than a Marxist convention!

I’m developing a romcom in my head where you track him down, ring his doorbell in the rain, when he opens you blurt out something dinosaur related (I’ll get back to you on that) and jump into his arms.

He sounds like he just says what he thinks and wasn’t trying to impress you. I don’t know if it would put me off but I don’t think I’d be considering dating a 28 year old virgin.
