Have I got bowel cancer ?

I had bleeding from the bum for a few years
eventually did a fit test which was clear

I have really bad binge eating disorder and there does appear to be a correlation between bad bingeing episodes and rectal bleeding
today iv been bleeding bright red/pink all week iv had a bad binge eating McDonald’s most days and other take aways chocolate etc
today iv been and a big clump of blood was there
I can’t stop crying I feel so useless iv probably given myself bowel cancer because I’m so bloody useless no one can get away with treating their body this way

Thank you gor all your kind comments the doctors have emailed back and gave a telephone conversation on Tuesday where I will be pushing for a colonoscopy

Totally sounds like a fissure! but do get it checked as others have advised.

It’s not so much what I eat, as what I don’t eat.

If I eat rubbish then I’m full up so I don’t eat the things my body needs to push food through and out the other end, ie fruit juice, fruit and veg. So I need to make sure I eat it. Or suffer pain and bleeding on the loo.

Processed meat isn’t good for us. We know that.
I try and eat Kentucky chicken as it’s chunks of real chicken not reclaimed processed like McD’s nuggets etc. I still think it’s shite though. So I do cook raw chicken myself too.

But a little of what I fancy, (crap) and include a little of what I don’t fancy (side salad, fruit instead of cake etc) and i know I’m trying.

It takes a week of eating additional fruit and veg (or drinking Tropicana every day) before my piles settle and stop bleeding. They itch as they are getting better but then that stops and I’m fine.
