To be worried about how many bugs I’m getting lately

I seem to have had non stop sore throats, coughs and colds since October and seems to be getting them one after another.. is it just me? I used to barely get sick at all..

Repeated infections are not necessarily a sign of cancer. They are a sign of immune deficiency or dysfunction and cancer can be one such cause. The most likely cause however is likely to be COVID-19, which is known to cause transient dysfunction even after a mild infection and can cause long term deficiency in some people. Since Freedom Day there has never been a week with fewer that 1 million people infected, so even if only a small number of people experience immune harm, that will be a lot of people in aggregate.

Same. I had covid for the first time in August and I haven't been well since
I only have a few days where I'm OK then start with something else. I've also lost a lot of my hair

I’ve been absolutely fine this winter and I work in a school. The staff around me though seem constantly ill.

Currently waiting for an ambulance for my DH as he now has the same thing i had but much worse as he is high risk due to being 72 and having medical conditions But all for the greater good eh?!

Jennnifer hope your DH is okay these bugs are something else ! My DH been awake most of the night coughing AGAIN it’s never ending. I’ve sent him up to bed whilst I sit downstairs hoping he can get some rest.

I'm exactly the same except it's been 3 stomach bugs and a chest infection.
It's getting me down, making me anxious.

Hi sorry this is a long time ago. But just wondering did you Evensurely see a light at the end of the tunnel? Ive had pneumonia an awful cold and d and v all within the last month and i am at the end of my teather!! X

@Jadeee123 it got better. Since that period just over a year ago all I've had is one cold in the autumn.
You will get out the other side x
