To be in need of a new toy for the bedroom?

I'm really bored with my old dolls house. DP has suggested a train set but I'm not too sure.

Can anyone suggest a new toy for our bedroom? Ideally something the DCs can use as well.

Lego.

Stickle bricks

Lego.

DP likes Lego but I find it a bit painful underfoot.

Guess Who?

Hot wheels?

I recommend a baby doll and crib so you can experience a baby sleeping through the night without waking you up.

Possibly the ideal MN bedroom toy.

It has to be a play kitchen so you can recreate the MN chicken, surely?

Good call, but that would only create happiness for a week or so and isn't very bedroom-appropriate.

Pretend meat in the bedroom is a bit 'ick' for some people, particularly when promoted by Mumsnet.

A lovely fluffy toy bison

blackandblonde · 24/02/2023 00:33

Fuzzy Felt - hours of endless fun in the bedroom or indeed any room.

MeinKraft · 24/02/2023 00:36

Monopoly. First to run out of cash can flounce directly into bed and huff there.

billthefrog · 24/02/2023 00:38

Subbuteo

More of a game than a toy though? I understand bedroom toys are de rigueur.

Subbuteo

'Flick to kick'. Good call.

And potentially a (very small) 'Beckham in the bedroom'

Slinky.

I don't get it

Slinky.

Meh. Once it's gone from the mattress to the floor what's left to do with it? It's not like sending it down the stairs.

Fairies and suchlike have very limited appeal to me as an adult though.
