Content for myself

I'd be happy as I'm happy at the moment but sad as I'd like children by 5 years

Perfectlystill · 19/02/2023 08:34

Happy

Beezknees · 19/02/2023 08:36

Content. But ideally I want to be earning more money so I'd like to have progressed a bit at work.

Oblomov23 · 19/02/2023 08:41

Content

DilemmaDelilah · 19/02/2023 08:55

Happy, because I am happy now. But it would be nice if my long term health conditions went away and if we won the lottery! 😁

Soakitup37 · 19/02/2023 09:01

I’d be grateful the kids(and family) are well and happy that the bills are paid and we still have our lovely
home.

id be disappointed that I hadn’t met anyone new which had become special or that I hadn’t moved to a bigger place.

Content, although a bit surprised as I hope to retire in three years time..... But who knows. One day at a time 🙂

Chibbin · 15/03/2023 21:06

This is a great question.
Tbh, I'd probably still be single, 5 years older so 52, but going by my lifestyle right now I'd say I'd still be happy.

Bucketheadbucketbum · 15/03/2023 21:10

Content. I would say happy, except that I like growth and change so I think if it all stayed exactly the same for 5 years I might be getting itchy feet

reddwarfgeek · 15/03/2023 21:58

Pretty sad.

Not sure I can take 5 more years of my relationship. Although DD will be older so maybe more time for myself.

thecatsthecats · 15/03/2023 22:01

Pretty pissed off. I'm pregnant and feel yakky.

Not planning to do it again!

XenoBitch · 15/03/2023 22:02

Sad, but most likely in a grave. I can't do it anymore.

Knitterofcrap · 15/03/2023 22:02

Really happy for it to be mostly the same, living in my little cottage by the sea, doing my job which is a well paid doddle.

I would like to be giving notice of my retirement in about five years though, so in six years I expect my life to be very different!!

steff13 · 15/03/2023 22:09

Sad. I'm happy now, but why would you be happy not growing at all in five years? No new experiences, no advancement in my career?

5128gap · 15/03/2023 22:22

Very happy. I'm 53 and getting to the point where stopping the clock before things go downhill is very appealing. If I could freeze my health, fitness and energy at their current level and still be able to live at my current pace in 5 years I'd be delighted.

tuvamoodyson · 16/03/2023 17:06

Happy.

Shabang21 · 16/03/2023 17:10

I could have written this myself! Sending much solidarity and strength, because it is bloody awful x

closingscore · 19/02/2023 06:56

Blimey I'd be gutted if everything is the same as now 🤦‍♀️

It's currently the most difficult time of my life due to an ageing sick parent. I've never felt so fed up.

Sorry, I meant to reply the above to this!

Ponoka7 · 16/03/2023 17:16

I'm slowly recovering from C.F so I hope that things will have changed. Emotionally I'm content and would be happy for their to be no changes there.
