to tell you I am going to park run this morning...

well, if I tell you, I cant really back out so easily, can I

backache, headache, nausea, aching limbs, blurred vision .....

but my consultant is adamant that exercise is beneficial, and park run, on the Saturdays that I am physically capable of getting out of bed, is the best possible thing to do

And I know I will feel better for it! I just cant be bothered to get up and get ready.

So am informing you, that this is happening, so it is happening.

I am going to aim to run at least half of it. I ran it all last time, two weeks ago, but am feeling a lot worse since then. Still, last Saturday I couldn't physically get out of bed, so at least I am better than then.

Im going! The only thing that can stop me is if I cant get a lift, as I dont think I could get myself there, or get myself back, if I felt worse unexpectedly

Anyone else really struggling to get started this morning?

Well done @Nimbostratus100 ! I’m thinking about doing my first park run. It’s quite a leap for me to do this but you’re an inspiration!

done! and I feel exhilarated!

I ran the first, third and fifth km, and walked the two inbetween

It was pretty tough going, and my running was not a lot faster than my walking, but am so glad I did it

Thanks for all the support, I hope you all have achieved your targets this morning

xx

@SouthCountryGirl We have two completely blind regular runners at our Parkrun...

I'm visually impaired and have just run with friends who are too. But that's different (as we all have guide runners) to the OP.

Well done you @Nimbostratus100
That'll set you up with a nice warm glow for rest of the day.
When I run it's no faster than my walking but it's the thought that countsGrin
