Amazed, came across a parent saying her preteen/nearly teen child was looking for work and did anyone know anything she could do to earn money as she didnt want her ending up on the streets?

why does her child need to work at that age and how can you just offer your childs services on FB to randoms?
Can you imagine all the people that could take advantage on this advert.

Poor child.

I did this with DS during lockdown when he was 11. I put a shout out on my Facebook page for washing cars, and he got all the car washing jobs from friends and neighbours he could handle! He wants me to do it again as soon as the weather warms up (he's 13 now). Gives him a good feel for the value of money. He was very interested in how a 15 year old friend got a job washing up in the local pub, but I told him they wouldn't have him yet .
