AIBU to buy some La Mer

Does anyone buy La Mer? Did anyone buy it pre COL?

I have use La Mer skin care on and off for the last 30 odd years. I recently had a facial at one of their stands and the results were amazing!

I just can't justify the cost. Especially if one was to get the full skin regime. You'd be looking at 2000 pounds for a 3 months supply

i had to have chemo and radiotherapy which dried my skin out massively. The hospital recommended Aveeno and it was amazing. It really made a difference.

I like L’Occitane facial creams - Immortelle Divine and Immortelle Precieuse. Cheap compared with La Mer.

Use Nivea instead. It's basically the same, even smells the same.

Thanks everyone! I have a list of dupes to try now
I do wish I could life of samples, but they're not as generous with them that they once were

Aldi Caviar is meant to be a dupe for La Prairie (so I heard)
Astral is meant to be the La Mer equivalent (again so I heard).

I wonder if La Mer just buy fancy pots and scoop Astral into them under the cover of darkness and sell them to idiots for hundreds of pounds a jar? Women’s insecurity - a multi million dollar industry!

The Peckham Spring episode of Only Fools has just been the Comedy Chanel 😮

Makes you wonder .....
