  • literally the best thing on TV
AhhSlippedOnMahBeansRitaaa · 20/01/2023 20:55

I just didn't get it at first but I carried on and absolutely love it.
Now walk around the house angrily quoting Roy 🤬😍

Sparklingblah · 20/01/2023 20:55

What is the youngest age that could watch it?

He’s here, he’s there, he’s every fucking where, Roy Kent!!

I wish he was here.

Puppypower83 · 20/01/2023 20:58

I thought it was rubbish 🥴 reminded me of something that would be on E4 at 2pm just with swearing. I’m aware I’m in the minority.

Winniethepig · 20/01/2023 20:58

Love it! I was so happy to find it ❤️

Hairybaker · 20/01/2023 21:04

Have you watched Schitts Creak? That is amazing and sort of similar in the way it’s funny and also touching.

Hairybaker · 20/01/2023 21:04

*Creek sorry!

RoyKentsChestHair · 20/01/2023 21:07

Another fan here, hence the name! Bloody love it. I’ve watched it all about 3 times through and can’t wait for the next series. I will kick off if Roy’s not in it!

Love Rebecca and Ted of course. My fave ever moment was when Jamie’s dad was being a prick and Roy went over and hugged Jamie. 😍.

RoyKentsChestHair · 20/01/2023 21:09

I also watched a film with Roy in it called SuperBob, where he played a superhero, which was v funny.

Love the Mumford and sons soundtrack too.

RoyFuckingKent · 20/01/2023 21:13

If you watch the last Thor, Love and Thunder and look carefully in the scene with the gods our Roy is Hercules. He's now signed to the Marvel universe.

In other news, you need to watch this:

@escapingthecity

For All Mankind is outstanding. Swagger, Servant, Defending Jacob, WeCrashed, Last Days of Ptolemy Gray and Acapulco also all excellent.

I find myself watching much more on Apple than Netflix now as the quality is far better.

Depends how you feel about swearing. It's mostly pretty wholesome but every other word Roy Kent says is a variation on fuck.

On ep2 or For All Mankind right now

HallwayDoor · 20/01/2023 21:21

It is properly uplifting and feel good and warming. Helped get me through a difficult time binge watching it!

devildeepbluesea · 20/01/2023 21:26

@RoyFuckingKent that is golden.

Waiting (im)patiently for series 3. I love everything about it. Particularly the relationship between Keely and Rebecca. It is so wonderful to see real, warm female friendships.
Coach Beard is the best though. 😁

Annotated1 · 20/01/2023 21:34

Where can I find it to watch?

SequinsandStilettos · 20/01/2023 21:34

My 11 year old enjoyed it very much. She does have a sweary mother though. Wink
I enjoyed Roy on Sesame Street thank you!

SequinsandStilettos · 20/01/2023 21:39

p.s. football is LIFE Grin

Costacoffeeplease · 20/01/2023 21:47

I have watched schitts creek and ted lasso and they were both ‘meh’ 🤷‍♀️

Theopossumwasmeantforme · 20/01/2023 21:48

HarlanPepper · 20/01/2023 20:34

Severance.

This! Great show.

Mol1628 · 20/01/2023 21:51

I love ted lasso. I really liked the relationship between ted and the psychologist.

Severance is also one of the best shows I’ve ever seen I think. Really brilliant.

Hobbesmanc · 20/01/2023 22:00

We Love Ted so much. And everyone we told to watch it felt the same. Up there with Schitts Creek.

Was just about to say For All Mankind! We're binging it (but trying not to) it's incredible.
Don't go near Shantaram, it's pants.
