To ask what jobs there are for unskilled that aren't retail or hospitality

Just that really, school leaver this year but I'm trying to think of a job unskilled that doesn't involve dealing with customers as I'm really anxious as I have poor social skills.

I don't know what I want to do at college yet but I am looking into that but want to earn in the meantime.
Any ideas please, I don't want voluntary work as I need an income.

You also have to be 18 to be on a lot of sites now, legally, as some insurances will only cover set hours and supervision of a younger person. Hence why I said not suitable.

All jobs require interaction with someone. Things I did in the past not needing a specific skill were: working for a food company on a production line, kennel work, sorting the post with Royal Mail. Other jobs that look fairly unskilled from the outside are dustbin emptying staff, labouring with the highways authority or on a building site. Friends did washing up in catering premises.

Apply to the civil service. The entry level jobs are unskilled and, for a school leaver, the wages aren't bad. And you can totally work your way up.

Warehouse work, picking and packing. Ocado near us always looking for pickers who pick out groceries for those who shop online.
