I had a CB fish pie a while ago - except there was no fish in it.
After sending the batch details etc. I got a grovelling apology, a full refund & a voucher for a free meal.

I used it of course, but have never trusted their products since.

I assumed by 'convenience meal' OP meant something bought from a shop in a box, not something quick you'd prepare yourself.

CB tikka masala for me, I wish they sold the sauce separately as it’s so good!

I like the moussaka but haven’t rated the others I’ve tried.

Toast! Toast is a feast of a meal if your bread and butter are decent, plus beans, cheese or an egg or two.

Another vote here for M&S macaroni cheese, I swear it must have something addictive in it as I get cravings for it! Soooo good.

If I didn’t have a cows milk allergy I’d be all over them.

@thunderstruckk is correct. CB’s Butter Chicken all the way. Tesco subbed it with Tikka Marsala in the shop this week and I was bereft.

I’ve never had one! You can’t beat a £1 bisto lasagne slapped in between two pieces of buttered white bread.

Soft boiled eggs and buttered toast. I have it about three times a week.

Charlie Bingham fish pie (for one) is the absolute best. DH doesn't like fish pie, hence for one. Tesco substituted for own brand once and it was truly horrible

They aware £9.50. I couldn’t eat a ready meal at that price however nice.
