Found these in Aldi... would you feed these to your 2 YO or not?

Why wouldn’t you?

it’s a biscuit, not crack cocaine

dementedpixie · 30/12/2022 15:47

Does it matter what we think?
If you don't want to give them to your child then don't

SuperPup86 · 30/12/2022 15:48

Well yeah, probably 🤷🏻‍♀️ Why not??

WorriedandScared93 · 30/12/2022 15:49

Have you seen all the reds? That's good I'm not the only one the !

This. Maybe just don't let them eat the whole box?

DreamingOfAGreenChristmas · 30/12/2022 15:53

Personally, no.

They look thoroughly synthetic and sweet.

LittleDragonRoo · 30/12/2022 15:54

It’s a chocolate biscuit, of course it contains fats and sugar - so will all of the other chocolate biscuits. It’s a treat, not a meal, no need to be dramatic.

Woahhohoho · 30/12/2022 15:55

My DC love them. It's a treat alongside a balanced diet so I don't see the issue.

OlleOskiFelle · 30/12/2022 15:56

I used to buy similar for Dd when she was little, anything is fine in moderation.

RobinRobinMouse · 30/12/2022 15:56

Yes as a small treat on the odd occasion. I think you can give your child issues if you are too controlling with food, though of course there has to be balance, I wouldn't let my child have more than one at a time and not regularly. No one is going to force you to though!

LongLiveGoblingKing · 30/12/2022 15:56

As an occasional treat/ at a party, of course. Probably not something I'd include in the weekly shop.

Notimeforaname · 30/12/2022 15:57

Fine in moderation

imalreadygone · 30/12/2022 15:58

I'd let them have 1 biscuit.

WorriedandScared93 · 30/12/2022 15:59

Thanks all- my sister gives them to her 2 year old at lunch time along with the Aldi quavers I was wondering if this was right or not

Yes. They’re right and it’s not your place to wonder about it.

riotlady · 30/12/2022 16:00

Yes, just not the whole box

Is there a reason you’re asking about these biscuits specifically?

So you thought you'd judge your sister's parenting choices on the Internet?

Maybe just but out of your sister’s parenting? 🙄

I can’t imagine actually taking a photo of the biscuits and posting online because your sister gives her kid chocolate biscuits and quavers!

TildaRae · 30/12/2022 16:01

Nothing wrong with these. Moderation is the key.

SwordToFlamethrower · 30/12/2022 16:01

I wouldn't ever consider feeding my kid that nasty crap. I'm with you OP.

Omg 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Mind your own bloody business.

Hellocatshome · 30/12/2022 16:01

So you have just come here to have us all judge your sister. Of course eating biscuits in moderation is fine as you well know.

I know it's so odd!

YouWouldNotBelieveIt · 30/12/2022 16:02

You could give your child one and it won't have any detrimental effect. A whole packet - no. Do whatever you think, because it's your child.

gemblondie · 30/12/2022 16:02

This is just a case of you wanting to be right and know better than your sister. Possibly you envy her laid back-ness with her child because you're a bit out
