The vacuum is really powerful but if I use him on stairs I need to get someone to hold him in case he falls on me and makes it look like a terrible accident !

We had one - well, we still do, but DH keeps him out in his man-shed/garden office which is full of machines like mills and lathes. Henry gets to suck up swarf and teeny tiny electronic components. I hated him as he wouldn't lift anything from the carpets until we added a beater bar to the end of the hose. Improved performance but noise levels became intolerable, hence his removal to the dread shed.
