I don’t want to go to the O2 tonight.

We are meant to be seeing Alter Bridge. This is very much a DH band but I’m along for the ride. So I don’t feel like it’s up to me to decide not to go.

I was already stressing out about the trains home as the last one is 23.30 (due to strikes) If the concert ends at 22.30 that leaves us an hour to get out of the stadium and then a 10 minute tube to London Bridge. I think that’s tight.

And waking up this morning to all the travel disruption has just about killed it for me.

DH is more optimistic and thinks we’ll be fine. I think we’ll be lucky to get there let alone home.

Driving wouldn’t help because the M25 is closed both ways apparently.

We live in West Sussex. Wwyd? What’s it actually like out there travel wise and will it be any better by this evening?

No. I’ve made a curry and we’re watching Christmas films. To add insult to injury, I’m out of Whamageddon thanks to Click and Collect (great film other than that).

Just want to say that the o2 is the best venue for getting out of in the whole country!

We were there last week. Show finished 22.40, we were on the tube we 22.55 (including walk to station) but generally they run tubes every minute in the Jubilee.

it’s only 10 mins to London Bridge so if they’re running their normal tube schedule you will have plenty of time.

We wouldnt have got there, let alone home.

I think it’s the sensible thing to do. Enjoy your curry !
