What colour are my eyes?!

Me and my bf have been having a disagreement about my eye colour. I won’t say who says which one incase it sways the answers, but one of us says my eyes are blue and the other says they are not blue, they are green. Neither is backing down so I’m asking on here so we can settle this once and for all 😂

Because they are not blue. What's blue about all that browny golden colour in the middle?

You have central heterochromia. A distinct inner iris colour (golden ish) and a distinct outer colour (blueish grey).
From a distance this give an impression of a non distinct green as the blueish grey and yellow mix visually to lean green.
So you have golden and blueish grey eyes that look greenish from a distance.

My DD has similar eyes. There are parts that are distincly golden brown and parts that are distinctly blue/grey depending on the light. OP has more of the golden brown that DD.
DD also has a dark blue ring around her pupil. DD has heterochromia with a limbal ring

That 'blue' is a limbal ring. I have them in dark, almost black, blue/grey around paler blue iris.

Because we have this everything but not sure of everything colour often.
