What colour are my eyes?!

Me and my bf have been having a disagreement about my eye colour. I won’t say who says which one incase it sways the answers, but one of us says my eyes are blue and the other says they are not blue, they are green. Neither is backing down so I’m asking on here so we can settle this once and for all 😂

Green I think, or hazel. Though you could post hazel, without looking at the OP's photo, on the majority of these threads and you'd be right. They're nearly always hazel!

Hazel is browny-green.
I think the enormous eye is brown.
DS has blue-green eyes that vary in colour depending on what colour he's wearing.

Grey/green.
Definitely not Hazel or Blue.

I would say light green at a distance, actually grey with yellow-gold ringing the pupil.

It's common for grey eyes to have the gold.

My eyes are like yours, I asked the optician and that's what he said.

They’re a lovely colour. They appear green to me. Maybe a tiny hint of brown in there but not enough to class as Hazel. I can’t see any blue or grey at all!

Green. They are grey/blue with yellow in the middle, which gives the appearance of green. Mine are similar.

Mine are very similar and I usually say they're yellowy grey. It depends what mood I'm in as to how grey / blue / green they are so I expect you're the same. Maybe your BF only sees you looking really happy <hopeful>

They look green with a grey rim around them to me. I can see why people would say a green hazel but I can’t see any blue.

I don't think you will get a definitive answer, sorry! My eyes are very similar, though a lot more yellow-brown in the centre. The 'official' colour has varied across passport, driver's licence, student ID, medical records, etc through my whole life.

Depending on what I'm wearing and how far away you're standing, they can appear green, blue, grey or turquoise.

Just refuse to be put into an eye-colour box by society's insistence on strict categorisation ;-)

They look green to me. Green with a ring of grey. Not blue at all. Maybe the colour we see depends on our screens.
