Sperm Donor = good ONS , short relationship = bad on MN

I'm just wondering about MN logic They regularly seem to say get a sperm donor like it's a good choice if you haven't been able to meet someone in a timely fashion. I'm not meaning to be goady I'm just wondering the logic , an ONS/ short term relationship is deemed to be a disaster and she should terminate. The woman has at least chance to claim CMS and her child will have a documented father. Not all men are bastards. Why is a ONS/ Short term relationship pregnancy deemed to be bad compared to a sperm donor?

So you think it is ok to get pregnant on purpose to get child maintenance from a man totally unware of your intentions?

No because I'm married with one DC 🤣🤣🤣. I'm not suggesting anything but I understand why a woman might get desperate she keeps asking to TTC and he says no later leading her up the garden path While her clock is ticking , I've seen lots of men do this. It's seen as acceptable for a man to waste a woman's fertility but abhorrent for a woman to take matters into her own hands.

No I think if you sex there's a chance you could get pregnant. No contraception is 100 percent. I don't know anyone who has "trapped" someone maliciously.

You keep deflecting and not answering my question.

Are these behavious trapping and therefore morally wrong or not?

I can empathise if someone gets desperate. Especially if a man promises to TTC at some point but then keeps delaying. Is it that not morally wrong too? Future faking ?

no one can waste your fertility without your consent. You are free to leave him at any time of he won't agree too TTC.

A man whose partner orchestrates an "accident" does not consent, has choice taken away from him.

If you feel you are being strung along you leave. You don't have the right to use someone as a reluctant sperm donor.

Future faking and leading someone on is wrong but in no way comparable to making someone a parent by outright lying. That it 100x more despicable. Should be illegal if it wasn't near impossible to prove.

And if the genders were reversed, could you also empathise with a man who took matters into his own hands because his partner was future faking about giving him a baby? Would that be equally understandable to you?

Hmm I'm not sure , robbing someone's chance of ever having a child is also very wrong.

It's a known outcome and you can ensure your child is with you and safe throughout their childhood without the aggravation and certainty of an uncertain relationship that could turn nasty. Not ideal though! But better for the child than being fought over.

Men can have babies until into their 80s so it's not the same at all. Women have a much smaller window of time.

I was the produce of a fling, fine with it tbh.

I also waited to ttc until I met someone suitable, started at 37 - too old after 12 naturally conceived miscarriages and 4 shitty IVF rounds - childless future awaits. If I had my time again, I’d have gone for the ONS option!

Are you still with the suitable person? Does he know how you feel?

Women have agency. They are not dolls in the hands of men. No one is keeping them in relationships.

If your partner doesn't commit to babies by mid 30s you leave and find someone else or get a sperm donor.

If you wait around for decades hoping for him to change his mind then you are stupid and victimising yourself. End of.

Women trapping men good.
Men trapping women bad.

Your mentality is sexist and disgusting.

Nice try. Biology is not the problem, people with no sense of ethics or morality are.

Are you going to address my point on women having agency not to allow men to lead them on? Or are women poor helpless dolls in the hands on men?

So completely out of women’s control?

You specifically ask ONS to get pregnant and ask for CMS. So you condone the behavior or not?
