Someone did something really horrific to me years ago - told his wife that I'd tried to sleep with him when I didn't. It led to an awful shitshow with a huge fallout amongst friends and could have had serious consequences as he contacted my DH almost every day as it all played out over a couple of months and tried to persuade him he was telling the truth (DH didn't believe him) and in general I've moved on and don't think about it all that much.

However, a petty and vengeful part of myself really wants some form of payback - it irks me that he could just do that, get away with it and (for a short time) upend my life. I don't suppose there's anything I can do at this stage is there? Has anything like this happened anyone and have you managed any form of payback to the perpetrator? I mean this in a lighthearted way, although it still annoys me that he could disrupt my life like this just by lying.

A school mum I know had some bloke be an aggressive dick head to her on the school run. They were driving towards each other with parked cars either side. He was in a big 4x4 and wouldn't reverse and let her past even though there was no one behind him and there was loads of cars piling up behind her. Just aggressively driving towards her beeping. so she had to just risk it and go round him narrowly missing his car and the parked cars. All the time with him mouthing obscenities and gesturing and everyone outside school staring at the situation. I can imagine it was quite intimidating and stressful

So she made a note of the car and reg plate. Then a few days later posted anon on the local town spotted describing the (quite recognisable) car and with the first letter of the reg plate. and said everyone needs to watch out as he'd been seen driving slowly around perving at teenage girls 😱 .

Well out of order but then so was he 😆

I didnt go too mad but I did add his phone number to a lot of websites that I know have very aggressive marketing calls. You might be able to block me but you cant block every number I sign you up to fuck face.

Group of about 6 of us used to go out for meal at pub after work each Tue. We weren't all close friends, but we'd stayed at the same boarding house when we were new staff and not local to the area. After couple of months one of the lads met someone online dating and she started to come with us too. More the merrier in my eyes, he was obviously lonely and although a bit full-on she clearly liked him.

What we didn't know was that she was full on bunny boiler, had sadly had a few miscarriages only a few months earlier with her ex, and was just on a mission to have a baby. He'd bigged himself up to be a massive high earner and seriously exaggerated his job role when he was only a trainee. His parents were rolling in it. She thought she'd dropped lucky, he d didn't see it coming and she got pregnant on the 2nd date. Poor chap never wanted kids but his parents were very traditional so the wedding was booked immediately.

Now she had him caught but for some bizarre reason saw me as a threat, and so every week when the group of us went out she'd spend the whole night making digs at me. She kept implying I was a sex worker as that's the only reason she thought I could pay my bills. Nothing to do with me actually being a strong independent woman who was higher qualified that her baby daddy, and paid for everything myself by doing overtime. These jibes went from banter to actual allegations, and then she started making digs that I was jealous of her and wanted baby daddy for myself. Nothing could be further from the truth, just we were the only singles in the group until she came along.

As the wedding approached, they were clearly just after cash gifts and had made a few comments about how much money they'd make out of the day (as baby daddy's gutted but rich parents paid for everything). The greed and entitlement was astounding. I'd pulled her up on her jibes as me and she basically said I had to put up with it because wasn't changing how she treated me. Out shopping one day I happened to spot some paternity testing kits for FIFTY PENCE in Boots so bought one, which I wrapped up very very luxuriously, with sparkles and curled ribbon and chiffon. At the wedding when no-one was looking I gave it pride of place on the card postal box. It was the ONLY boxed gift as they'd made it very clear they only wanted money, but Bride was heard saying how expensive it was and how she was so excited she'd obviously got a posh present as well as cards.

So next day, they had a post-Wedding get together at her parents house, with both sets of families. And apparently she made a big thing of making everyone sit round to watch her unwrap the chiffon explosion, silver paper, curled ribbon and glitter gorgeous lux-looking present. And was greeted by a paternity testing kit.

No-one accuses me of being a prostite and gets away with it!!

I love love love this

Put a dead mouse in their bag of protein powder!
Took it out eventually & disposed of it (the mouse).
They deserved it!

Getting a huge tub of glitter (or 10) and putting it through a funnel through someones letter box is quite satisfying ... especially if their door opens up into the living room and carpet. Using a little battery operated fan whilst doing so can be even more satisfying. It's a bastard to clear up.

Ahem. As you were.
