Just that really. What is the meaning behind/origin of your username?
I’ll go first: mine is based on the name of a holiday home I visited many years ago now.

I LOVE this! I also have four little ones, with such sweet little faces, but definitely not the voices to match....

The whole back of my downstairs is glass sliding doors. I can not for the life of me stop them

The title of a poem I wrote in my teens. I honestly can’t remember why I chose it as my name here.

Mine is what I saw on the way to work one morning. I usually see a couple, but one particular day I must have seen about 20 of them. Not all together in a flock, but in ones and twos.

There are so many mums living wholesome country lives on here. I'm one of them 🙄

When I set up the account I led one of three teams at work (Red, Blue Green), the last of these was mine and I was struggling to think of anything more significant or original.

My Nain had a Welsh costume doll she called "Anwen". I adored my Nain and have very fond memories of staying with her in the school holidays.

Anwen wasn't really a toy, but her sweet face and multi-layered costume used to fascinate me.

Nain died about 20 years ago and I have no idea what happened to Anwen, but I remember her fondly enough to borrow her name...

@LaMarschallin @LibrariesGiveUsPower - she is a nurse! I’ve seen her before on a health thread (and she drew attention to her name, I remembered it as have friends with IBS & Crohns, and bowel issues myself) - tickled me 🤣 I always think of Howard & Bernadette’s 1st date on TBBT

My DH is not romantic in any sense but he says this about me. And we had a JC song at our wedding so all ties in nicely.

I realised when I acquired my spaniel that spaniels is an anagram of painless. Far from true, btw!

This thread did give me the impetus to change my name!

Formerly ddl1- changed because too easily confused with 'dd1'.

Now ToWhitToWhoo, because I like owls, collect craft owls, and am a bit of a 'night owl' myself.

Someone in my family went round to a friend's for nibbles and was explaining it was posh as they had all that middle class food. Olives and hummus will now forever be called middle class food in our house.

I was lying in bed the other night & thought “I’m going to change my name to TootSweets tomorrow’ but someone already has it so I had to think of another chitty chitty bang bang song instead.

I love cats, I wish I could have lots of them but I can’t as allergic to them, so I chat up every kitty on the street.

I name changed when I found out I was accidentally expecting dc2 🤣
