To think I'm having the worst night ever

Been talking to this guy for a few months. Went from a flirty tone to a sort of pally tone over the months. He has recently moved to my city. So last night after having a bottle Blush of wine I decided it was a good idea to suggest I go to his flat. He agreed and over I went.

When I got there there was definitely no chemistry other than friends so that was fine. Stayed for an hour and a half then said my goodbyes. However was literally impossible to get a taxi, all saying they were taking ages and my eyes were shutting on his sofa

He suggested I stayed so I said okay (I still wanted to fuck at this point and thought I was in with a change) however he took me into his bedroom which has two single beds. I am currently in one and he is currently snoring his head off in the other 🤣

I'm so affronted. I wish I'd just pushed to go home. Now if I decide to get up and go it will wake him up and be very awkward. Not to mention I am in a rough part of the city. But there's also no way I can sleep tonight and my dogs are at home alone. I'm so mad at myself for not just heading on home when I had the chance.

A lot of attempts by women on here to ‘slut shame’ another woman.

Fuck sake.

I wouldn't call it slut shaming, but she's acting like the sort of sleazy bloke that I generally avoid.

No chemistry, but would've fucked him anyway, sulked in her single bed then escaped cos she wasn't getting her rocks off.

Gross behaviour whether man or woman.

Bizarre....no chemistry but you still wanted to have sex? Then when he did the right thing and not shag you in your inebriated state, you feel aggrieved. I think he's had a lucky escape.

Imagine if a bloke posted this...I didn't fancy her but I still wanted to fuck...then she wouldn't sleep in the same bed as me. He'd be ripped to shreds.

Well exactly. MN double standards at its finest. 🙄

Me neither which is why I - didn't.

Excellent ☺️

He sounds like a decent bloke. Bit of a dramatic post for a non event

Omg… Sounds like Ernie and Bert

🤣🤣🤣🤣

IntrovertedPenguin · 05/11/2022 10:35

Sounds like he's had a very lucky escape.

He sounds like a nice guy, just not into you. Don't take it personally and I'd say lucky escape as it could have turned quite nasty. I think you do need to be a little more careful because we hear so many stories of women putting themselves in unsafe situations and falling victim to predators.
