I just ate a full Terry’s chocolate orange to myself

YANBU - that is normal
YABU - that is greedy bastard behaviour

OP posts:
Ilikewinter · 03/11/2022 21:46

I managed 3/4 of a popping candy one, then I felt too sick to continue!
Well done OP 😊🤣

Magelica · 03/11/2022 21:47

They're so small these days, they're more of a chocolate satsuma.

PutTheKettleOnPolly · 03/11/2022 21:50

It is very greedy, I've done it several times.

I often buy chocolate based on the cost/quantity. When choc oranges are cheap, it is far better value than a bar of basic choc for 70p or more.

But the problem is I will eat the whole thing.

Wheredoallthepensgo · 03/11/2022 21:52

If you're wrong OP, I don't want to be right.

One of DC favourites too, no idea where they got it from passed on by pregnancy cravings

Haveitheright · 03/11/2022 21:57

Jeeze that’s nearly 825 calories Shock

Teen loves them and I know when we buy one each Christmas it’s eaten in one day but, as a lanky teen who walks for miles each day, he can afford to.
I can not afford to eat a whole one… but I bet I could!

Georgeskitchen · 03/11/2022 21:59

Yabu of course it's normal!!

And yes your a greedy barsteward 😉😉

YABU as chocolate oranges are horrible. A large bar of Toblerone on the other hand...

I can't look at Toblerone anymore. A few weeks back I was scoffing one and broke my tooth so badly that I had to have it extracted. It was all very traumatic for me. Bloody loved a Toblerone.

PurpleButterflyWings · 03/11/2022 22:06

I'm actually impressed. I'd have puked. It's a bit palm-oily!!!

I have been known to eat an entire Cadbury's dairy milk crunchie bar though. (100 gram bar.) Absolutely delicious. SO hard to stop when you start eating it.

YABU, because chocolate oranges are up there with celery as the work of the devil.

Toblerone broke your tooth? Confused How?

BobbysGirly · 03/11/2022 22:10

YANBU! If I buy a chocolate orange it’s mine! And I make sure I eat it. It’s the only thing I won’t share.

it’s the little things that count… 😉

DarkKarmaIlama · 03/11/2022 22:12

I will now only ever eat a whole one in one sitting so thanks for this thread.

It was probably cracked a bit already. I had weakend one from previous treatment and it cracked when I was eating a bread😂

Applesandcarrots · 03/11/2022 22:14

Yanbu.

But I haven't had one for a while and I am not liking the pists about it now being to fatty tasting. Hate what happened to half a chocolate. Tastes like oil woth cocoa😳

Lunaduckdrop · 03/11/2022 22:15

YANBU but only if you dunk each piece in your cup of tea to make the chocolate melt. Easy peasy to demolish a whole one by this tied and tested method!

Tromboncini · 03/11/2022 22:16

I don’t think those 2 statements are mutually exclusive but would add it’s not greedy if you’re hungry is it. 🍫

Obia · 03/11/2022 22:19

@PurpleButterflyWings the Toblerone had been in the fridge and was rock hard. 😁

Fairyliz · 03/11/2022 22:22

I know this is meant to be fairly lighthearted but are you not worried about what it’s done to your insides? I can almost see your arteries furring up from here.
Given that there unlikely to be an NHS in a few years I wouldn’t do this too often.

SkylightSkylight · 03/11/2022 22:22

DazzleRazzles · 03/11/2022 21:16

YABU for the attention seeking post

Of course you’re not the only one who has eaten an entire chocolate orange Confused

🙄🙄🙄Not every post has to be about Sunsk or bloody fuel accounts.

Nah but these are quite sad

Its the ‘oh am I the only person who eats crisp sandwiches’

‘please tell me I’m not the only one who uses their legs to walk’

boring and false

IAteAllTheBananas · 03/11/2022 21:20

Funnily enough I’ve just said to DH I’m going to buy a toblerone for weekend 😂

What size???

It's just a light-hearted thread 🙄

I think it's oretty clar OP isn't the saddo here
