Bountys out of Celebrations!

Just heard that Bounty bars are to be removed from tubs of Celebrations after 39% of people asked said they didn't like them.
I'm disappointed as they're one of my favourites & Milky Way should definitely have gone instead!
Not sure if they're being replaced with something else but AIBU to say they are not the worst chocolate in the tub?
YANBU- they're lovely & should stay.
YABU- no place for the taste of paradise any more.

Fantastic news, good riddance to the Bounty! Just need to get the Fudge out of Cadbury's Heroes and Xmas will be sorted.

Oh yes, I loved that mini Dairy Milk bar too and they were always in short supply so it felt like a real find if you got one.

I remember my Mum's catalogue used to see these mini dispensers full of those little bars and you had to put in a penny to get one out. I always wanted one but my Mum said it wasn't worth the money!

Back on topic: I am one of the 61% who likes the Bounty. Possibly my favourite. What is wrong with people?

Celebrations are the worst of all the chocolate tins imho, I wouldn’t be arsed if they axed the whole brand. Quality Street all the way.Grin

Quality Street are still the best. I remember when a tin would have been really expensive but such a treat & there would have been so many different chocolates.

A year ago I would have been gutted but I no longer eat choccy and oh is allergic to coconut so they'd have just been left milling around in the tub with the milkway forever....

I would have no issue with bountys staying but to say Milky Way should go is very unreasonable! That’s the best one.

This is an outrage. Bountys are

a) delicious
and
b) in plentiful supply because no one else is keen

Get rid of those sickly, claggy Mars Bars, I say!

Bounty are always one of the first to go in the tubs we buy.

I also love Maltesers but don't get a look in cos my kid eats them.

There was an announcement here in Ireland today that we will be keeping the Bounty bars in. Maybe some of you will be able to pick some of the Irish ones up.

YABU for having Celebrations when you could just buy lots of Heros.

Heroes have my top two of the mini-chocolate bar tubs - the Creme Eggs and Crunchie.
If they would just ditch out all the Eclairs from the Heroes tubs and replace them with Maltesers (putting the rejected Eclairs into the yukky Celebrations box) - my Christmas would be complete.

I don't understand why they would get rid of something that 61% of people said they liked, just sounds like a ridiculous marketing ploy to me.
