for 5 million quid today would you take 5 years off your life?

In a supernatural hypothetical situation if you were told you died 5 years younger than you are going to/destined to by the Gods/creator (whatever) and you get 5 million quid would you take it?

Would it not be appropriate to ask your kids how much they want for you if you care about them so much?

This actually made me laugh.
Bear in mind my children are adults.
One would say 5p should suffice
One would say a million pounds
Another would say aww feck off ma, and a grandchild who is 5 would say there's not enough money in the world to lose you. She really has taken a shine to me. Like I'm the cool granny (im not)
Still none would turn up their noses at the share of 5 mil.
