I remember buying a days travel insurance for a day trip to Edinburgh for £1 to get the Meerkat rewards.

At the time they had discounts at the cinema and two for one meals at a variety of restaurants on certain days so it was worth it.

I have no idea if they still have the same offers but can't afford cinema trips and meals out now so not much use anyway.

Ah but by the time you've got to the c*fee shP, and paid for park**g a teaspoon of coffee has to be better value.

Why would you need travel insurance for one night within the UK?

I don't know which part of the post I'm most confused about tbh.

I think the supposed hack part is that you get meerkat meals and movies by buying a single night travel insurance which can cost just a couple of pounds. Since you won’t be using it, you can put whatever parameters make it cheaper in. Mine cost £1.50.

You don't but the perks you get for buying insurance with them is worth more than the £1 so you get it for them!
