I’ll start… dogs 😬 Never goes down well & I think if I owned one I’d probably grow to love it but in my eyes they just smell and dribble and are annoying. How about you?!

Campfires:
Taking hours to find wood to light them. Watching as folk (usually men) try to be the fire making god and expect to praise Worrying about the poor insects in the wood burning alive. Watching children don't set themselves on fire. Eating charred mallows. Lung pain/damage. Smelly clothes. Environmental damage.

I refuse to go to campfires. Everyone else I know loves them.

Another top vote for grief vampirism. Including - no especially - over the Queen and particularly Diana.
The monarchy and the whole out-of-date UK constitution.

Modern monarchy. Henry VIII was a shit but a thoroughly captivating shit. Alfred the Great, Richard I, Edward I, Elizabeth I. All fascinating characters. Our current royal family, not so much. Elizabeth II included in the list of not particularly compelling stately characters.

People that proudly proclaim that they ‘hate dogs’. Hating any animal is really nothing to be smug about. Dogs are incredible and life enriching. Those who ‘hate’ them have no soul and I pity them. You are missing out on so much.

Dogs in places. Before I get hate I do like dogs. But since covid dogs seem to be everywhere they normally wouldn't be allowed. John Lewis, Wilko, every bloomin pub, every bloomin place we go to for a Sunday lunch. Nippy chihuahuas in handbags pushed up next to you in the bar on a Saturday night, eyeballing you while you eat your Sunday lunch. I swear I got flea bites on Saturday 😂
