To think I'm the only one who's two year old is crap sleeper

My two year old is awful at sleeping. She's slept through maybe twice!

She goes down well until about 11, then wakes. Out of exhaustion I just bring her into bed with me (I'm a single mum who work full-time) and I also give her milk if she wakes up again! I know I've made a Rod for my own back, but any other mums with two year olds who have awful sleep? I need to feel I'm not alone in this xxx

My nearly three year old has never slept through in his life 😂 sounds normal to me

My nearly 4 yr old sleeps like a dream providing she's in bed with me. Started the same way, bringing her in with me when she woke in the night, just out of tiredness and wanting the quickest way of her going back to sleep.

We'll be transitioning in to her own bed over the coming months. Not looking forward to it 😴😴

This is the same for us. We start him in his own bed just to get some time for ourselves but the second he’s awake he’s in for the night. Sleeps so much better that way.

Normal for most of the world so like you, we will start changing it when we’re ready.

Something that really helped me was to find my ‘mum tribe’ who were basically the same.

My DD is 2 years 8 months, only started sleeping through (8pm to 6am) 2 months ago, before that she was up at least once per night from anywhere between 20 mins to an hour. I still rock her to sleep before putting her to bed and give her an oz of warm milk.

It's hard when it feels like everyone else's kids sleep through, but lots don't, just do whatever works for you.
