Where the fuckity fuck is my rolling pin

It has disappeared completely, not fallen down the back of cupboards it is absolutely nowhere to be found, I use it all the time how can it just vanish? No one has used it to kill spiders bang nails in or anything it is just gone. Where can it be?

Do you have a corner cupboard? I find stuff gets lost in there!

It's with my bright orange sieve.

It's in the toybox with your car keys.

And with the nozzle for my vacuum cleaner.

We once couldn’t find the doodad for defrosting the freezer.

Ended up buying a new one. Defrosted the freezer…the bloody thing was under the ice.

DH regularly puts mine in a different drawer to the one it lives in.

I've started moving his golf stuff around in the garage so that he too can share the utter joy of not being able to find something.

Funnily enough it makes him very annoyed

Use a wine bottle instead

Has it gone over the back of the drawer and fallen down to the floor. Pullout other drawers etc and see if it has fallen into another drawer

Mine was in the play dough box 😐 I bought a new one for real food!

I once was drunk and became convinced that someone was going to break into the house so I brought my rolling pin to bed with me as a weapon. Forgot all about it until I couldn't find it one day and remembered. Check your bedside table?

I found mine in a bush in the garden. Pesky kids!

Inside a rolled up silicon pastry mat. That's where I keep mine.

In the random junk drawer or press that houses those gadgets that you never use but keep because they may come in handy some day.

IME you have to buy a new one and the old one will miraculously appear.

DH used mine to mix paint. If I'd have found the rolling pin at that point, I know where I'd have put it ...

Mine has been known to flop out of the back of the drawer it's in and disappear right into the back of the cabinet cavity. So not just in the drawer below the one it should've been in but right in the unit carcass (involves getting all the drawers out and contorting body into the cabinet)

I was going to say this too, my late GF borrowed my GM rolling pin as apparently it made perfect size hole in the soil to plant something or other

I vote with the play dough or toy kitchen if you have young children. Put away in the wrong drawer if they’re older - with spatulas, or where you keep the scales/baking tins?
Or has it been dropped on the floor and rolled under the oven?
