To find Liz Truss so unconvincing

It's as though Liz Truss is acting (badly) the role of PM in some naff soap. I find her so unconvincing of her ability to be PM.

I listened to a podcast with Laura Kunesberg earlier and Liz Truss just talked over her continuously to drown out her questions. It was just drivel. I can't believe she's leading the country.

I love the term alansigbal, I will always think of her as an alansigbal from now on. It sums her up well.

I saw today's interview on C4 and it was dire - she reminded me of a teenager coming to class, who hasn't done the reading, but is trying to bluff their way through unconvincingly

She seems out of her depth and the fact she has chosen a Cabinet entirely of Liz Truss fans means that she doesn't hear opposing views at the policy development phase

The excruciating pauses while she desperately tries to think of a response. Prime Ministers should be confident and articulate, able to nimbly respond no matter how awkward the question posed.

I've just watched the Beth Rigby interview - the questions were toe-curling but I thought Liz Truss answered them well.

I have also seen clips of the Beth Rigsby interview - Liz Truss seems quite slow on the uptake if the questions deviate from her pre-planned answers. She didn't seem to actually understand the premise of the "could you remortgage" question at all .... which is worrying

Also when C4 have IDS on and acting as the voice of reason claiming that the government are planning to be too harsh to benefit claimants you know something is really WRONG!!

I've stated my honest opinion - I thought Liz Truss answered Beth Rigby's toe-curling questions well.

I'm sure you have - however you pop on every critical thread to proclaim your unwavering support. Don't get me wrong, you're perfectly entitled to do that - I just find it bizarre.

Strangely, the Guardian's political correspondent agrees with my interpretation of the Kuenssberg interview.

I'm not alone then. It's like a caricature of a dodgy MP on a comedy satire. I just can't computer that any of her 'people' think this looks good. They keep letting her talk to everyone like that' s good idea. It's not. She is literally a living Spitting Image puppet. We are screwed.

We can't have seen the same interview surely?? She has a glaring lack of depth, repeats the same 3 or 4 fed statements regardless of the question and seems devoid of any empathy. Apparently she's been quite chirpy and happy at the the tories conference which shows she's also seriously deluded....
